Igor Sechin met with the Minister of Commerce of China Zhong Shan

Beijing, June 7 - Neftegaz.RU. Prior to the visit of the President of Vladimir Putin to China, the CEO of Rosneft Igor Sechin and the Chinese Minister of Commerce of Zhong Shan held a working meeting.
The parties discussed the development of cooperation in oil and gas production, oil refining, petrochemical industry and chemical utilization of natural gas, marketing of hydrocarbons, as well as opportunities for building new generating capacity and deliveries of power plant coal.
Zhong Shan expressed his readiness to give full support to mutually beneficial investment projects, which will contribute to implementation of the tasks, set by the leaders of the 2 countries, concerning the development of trade and economic cooperation and increasing volume of trade between the countries to $200 billion a year.
The parties noted that cooperation between Russian companies and their Chinese partners has a strategic integrated nature and is gradually developing.
Rosneft delivered almost 40 million tonnes of oil to China in 2017, and 230.6 million tonnes in the period between 2005 and 2017. Rosneft is also one of the leaders in oil products supplies to China, the company delivered 32.9 million tonnes of oil products between 2009 and 2017.
