Kazakhstan to export petroleum to Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan

Astana, July 2 - Neftegaz.RU. Kazakhstan is working with Russia to introduce amendments into the bilateral agreement for export of petroleum, the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Russia said.
KazMunayGas Vice Chairman of the Board for Oil Transportation, Processing and Marketing, Daniyar Tiesov said Kazakhstan expects to start petroleum supplies to Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan since autumn. Up to 400,000 tons of oil will be exported. In total, petroleum exports may reach 1-1.2 million tons in 2019.
According to Energy Minister Kanat Bozumbaev, export is bound with the agreements Kazakhstan has signed with Russia.
«Export is prohibited under the agreement with Russia. We are working now on revision of the ratified agreements,» the Energy Minister said, adding Kazakhstan wants to export petroleum to the Central Asian states.
At the same time the Energy Ministry has brought up the draft agreement restricting fuel imports from Russia by railway for public discussion.
