Capacity on ESPO Tayshet-Skovorodino Segment To Grow Nearly 100 Percent

Russia's state expert commission, Glavgosekspertiza has reached a positive decision on documentation to increase the capacity of the East Siberia-Pacific Ocean pipeline to 50 million tons per year on the Tayshet-Skovorodino segment, the Oil and Gas Information Agency has reported. vostoknefteprodukt reports that the current volume on the segment in 30 million ton per year.
five crude pump stations will be built to transport the additional volumes of hydrocarbons - four in Yakutiya and one in Amur Region.
Intermediate pump stations numbers 12, 13, 16, 18,and 20 will be built on the NPS-10 to NPS-21 segment. The project does not include equipping the stations with tank farms; the crude will be pumped "pump-to-pump".
